Milltown Brewing Company is situated in the Old Railway Goods Yard, Milnsbridge, Huddersfield. Established in 2011, our passion is for producing quality cask ales, consistently, using the finest ingredients to ensure our products are to the highest standard.

The Head Brewer and Owner of Milltown Brewing Company, Neil Moorhouse, has for many years pursued the opportunity to sample craft real ales from all over the country.
Tasting and sampling different styles of beer and seeing different brewing processes has enabled us to identify the type of beers we would like to produce.

Jointly with Consultant David Smith of Brewing Services, we have successfully developed the recipes for our range of quality beers.

We pride ourselves on quality.

Using traditional brewing methods we carefully monitor each stage of the process to ensure that the beer we produce is of the finest quality.

The malts that we use in our beers are sourced from the finest local maltsters, Fawcetts of Castleford in Yorkshire. The malt range includes Maris Otter Pale Ale Malt, Crystal Malt, Munich Malt, Pale Chocolate Malt, Dark Chocolate Malt and Wheat Malt.

The best quality fresh vacuum packed whole leaf hops which go in our beers are sourced from Charles Farams of Worcester to ensure our products are to the highest standard. The hop range includes Challenger, Cascade, Progress, Mount Hood, Pioneer and Styrian Goldings.

And not to forget the most important ingredient of all, the finest Yorkshire Water !!
